Bob-o-link is back and this year’s crop is spectacular! It’s really everything I look for in a Brazil: sweet, nutty, caramelly, chocolaty, and smooth as a Barry White song. Hey I wonder if Barry is related to Betty…I doubt it. Hmm – anywhoo, love this coffee, and the Brazil haters can stuff it. You know who you are.
Pour 30 grams of Brazil into the French Press and pour 450g of water over the top and start timer. At, 3:30 give the grounds a stir. Wait another minute and scrape any foam off the top of the brew, plunge slowly and serve. You’re going to get a sturdy cup full of nuts, caramel, and chocolate – dang dude.

The Bobolink Coffee comes from “Alta Mogiana” (States of Sao Paulo and Minas Gerais) one of the highest coffee producing regions in Brazil with altitudes ranging from 1000-1400 meters. The varieties used are Yellow and Red Bourbon, Yellow and Red Catuai, and Red Mundo Novo. The coffee is handpicked selectively at the ripest stage to ensure flavor, sweetness, and a clean cup. The coffee is then dried naturally, either in raised beds or on cement patios.
