Dang y’all – another insanely awesome coffee from this year's Colombia crop. This beauty hales from the Timaná subregion of Huila and is a straight up knockout like Marvelous Marvin Hagler. It’s sweet - it’s fruity - it’s chocolaty - and it’s got a bigger booty than Taylor’s fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Tillman. Which I hear is/was pretty impressive...
Elevation: 1400 - 1600 MASL
We like to brew this one in the Chemex because you’re gonna need more than one cup. Toss 35 grams of coffee in the filter and pour 540 grams of water over the top. Shoot for a finish time of about 4 minutes. You’ll be greeted with a sweet, fruity cup that’s balanced out with rich, chocolaty yumminess.
I love Colombian coffees so much. This beauty is from the Timaná subregion of Huila. Timaná boasts fruity blasts of peach and sweet orange, waves of graham cracker and chocolate, and has a rich body that coats the whole of your mouth like a dang bathtub full of Granny Chandler’s banana pudding.
This is a Colombia Excelso grade coffee from the Timaná subregion of Huila. Timana is located in between the two main branches of the Colombian Andes, which provides excellent weather patterns for growing coffee.
